GoMoorhead.com Support: Setup, Windows Vista Systems

1. Highlight or click Start, then click Control Panel.
   • If your screen is grouped by Category, click Network and Internet, and then click on the Network & Sharing Center icon.
     
   • If your screen shows a series of icons, double-click the Network & Sharing Center icon.
     
2. Select view status link for Local Area Connection or, if you are using a wireless network card, select the wireless icon.
3. Click the Properties button and click Continue.
   
4. Select Protocol (TCP/IP) and then click the Properties button below.
   
5. If not already activated, click on the circles adjacent to Obtain an address automatically and Obtain DNS server addresses automatically (a dot inside the circle indicates this feature is enabled). Click OK to return to the Properties menu, and then click Close at the bottom of the next two screens to return to the Network and Sharing Center.
   
6. On the Network and Sharing Center screen, click the Back or arrow button to return to the Control Panel.
   
7. Click on the Options icon, and then select the Connections tab.
   
8. Remove any existing listings in the Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings box.
   
9. Click the LAN Settings button, ensure no boxes are selected, and then click OK.
   
10. Click OK to close Internet Properties, and close the Control Panel.

Logging on with Windows:

Once you have successfully installed the necessary equipment and ensured your computer’s settings are interoperable with the GoMoorhead.com network, follow the directions below to access the Internet:

1. Locate, then right-click on the wireless icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen, the select Search for Available Networks.
2. Locate and double-click on the GoMoorhead.com network.
3. Double-click on any Web browser like Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
4. You should now be authorized to connect to GoMoorhead.com. If you are unable to bring up a Web site or have any difficulty connecting to the GoMoorhead.com network, please contact our customer service center at 299.5555
