GoMoorhead.com Support: Setup, Windows 2000 Systems
- Click Start, highlight Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Network and Dial-up Connections.
- Right-click Local Area Connection or Wireless Area Connection, then click Properties.
- Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), then click the Properties button below.
- If not already activated, click on the circles adjacent to Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server addresses automatically (a green dot inside the circle indicates this feature is enabled).
Then click OK until all windows are closed.
- Click Start, highlight Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double click Internet Options, then click on the Connections tab.
- Remove any existing listings in the Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings box.
- Click LAN Setting button, ensure no boxes are selected, then click OK.
- Click OK to close Internet Options.
Logging on with Windows:
Once you have successfully installed the necessary
equipment and ensured your computer’s settings are
interoperable with the GoMoorhead.com network,
follow the directions below to access the Internet:
- Locate, then right-click on the wireless icon in the
lower right hand corner of your screen, the select Search for Available Networks.
- Locate and double-click on the
GoMoorhead.com network.
- Double-click on any Web browser like Internet
Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
- You should now be authorized to connect to
GoMoorhead.com. If you are unable to bring
up a Web site or have any difficulty connecting to
the GoMoorhead.com network, please contact
our customer service center at 299.5555
