GoMoorhead.com Support: Installing Your Wireless Bridge
Open the package carefully, and make sure all of the items listed below are included. Keep the packaging materials, since, incase of return or malfunction, the unit must be shipped in its original package.
Step 2: Connect the Power and Red Cross-Connect Cable Power. Connect the small end of the enclosed power supply pack to the connection marked "DC IN" on the back of the bridge, then connect the other end to an A/C outlet. Ethernet. Next, connect the enclosed red cross-connect cable to the Network Connection Ethernet port on the back of the bridge. An Ethernet Port looks similar to a telephone or modem connection port, but is slightly wider. Then, connect the other end of the red cross-connect cable to the Network Adaptor Ethernet Port on your computer. (NOTE: if you have more than one Network Adaptor Ethernet Port on your computer, for example, "Net 1" or "Net 2," select the lowest numbered port available.)
Step 3: Connect to GoMoorhead.com! GoMoorhead.com wireless bridges are configured to connect with the GoMoorhead.com network automatically. No additional software installation is necessary. For Windows users, locate, then right click the wireless icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Next, select "search for available Wireless Networks." Locate and double click "GoMoorhead.com." For Macintosh users, in the Menu bar, click the "AirPort Status icon, locate "GoMoorhead.com," and join. Open any web browser, like Internet Explorer or Mozzilla Firefox, which automatically take you to the GoMoorhead.com login screen. If you are requested to enter your username and password, please do so. You may not be required to enter any login information as your wireless bridge is pre-authenticated with GoMoorhead.com. |
